    ...from Bramen Hill, above the village skate park. These are the greatest views of the bay and Northport Point! There's a fire pit and seating at the top of the hill.

    ...is an absolute must. Take in a sunset or whole day of private swimming at Lake Michigan on Cat Head Bay. Access from Densmore Road parking near the Airport.

  49. PANCAKES AND PLANES - WHAT A COMBINATION!
    Reserve August 20 to attend the Fly In at Northport's Woolsey International Airport north of town. Eat a full breakfast - cherries on your pancakes, anyone? - and admire antique planes and other special aerial guests that fly in for the day. Pancake line forms up early!

  50. STAY UP FOR THE STARS
    It's true - the stars are brighter in Leelanau County. They're closer, and are unaffected by the bright lights of the city. Pick a clear night, bring along a book about constellations and educate your kids! Try Bramen Hill as a viewing spot!
